December Service

Holiday Miracles: Caroling Service & Mitten Tree

As we turn toward our holiday celebrations of Yule, Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa, we find that all the December holidays have common threads of meaning for our community:
“All the stories and rituals of this season…. were dreamed up to walk us through the darkness.  They are all, in one way or another, ultimately about the birth or rebirth of light.” – Kim C. Harvie
In addition to our favorite traditional Christmas music,  we will hear non-traditional readings for inspiration. These readings will come from our Unitarian Universalist faith as well as other faiths.

Please bring contributions of new hats, mittens, gloves or scarves for the Mitten  Tree.

This is a good time to invite friends to join us as we honor and celebrate the many holidays of this season. After the service we will taste some special holiday treats baked for us by our members.
